The Sound of Maple

Flame Maple is a very hard type of wood with good tonal qualities and good sustain. Flame Maple has a strong low-end response and plenty of projection and clarity in the top end, and can be loud and project well. Flame Maple can also provide a considerable amount of treble.

Flame Maple has a relatively quick note decay and provides excellent separation where every note sounding at the same time has clear definition. This makes it a great choice for any live performances because the clarity of tone cuts through the mix well and will lead to less feedback.
